Our external client based in Pretoria is looking for a Mobile Developer with Xamarin skills on a contract basis to be responsible for software development life cycle, i.e. analysis, design, build, test and implementation on mobile platforms and mobile devices. The project will affect the company's existing custom-developed mobile applications.

The project will cover the following:

Compile technical design documents and database design documents in accordance with functionality reflected in the design documents

Developing new functionality as reflected in the design documents.

Develop and/or modify system reports as per requirements

Conduct component, module and system testing to ensure that the developed functionality is in line with the requirements in the detailed design.

Object oriented programming

Software design patterns and practices

Communicating with web services using JSON/XML

Strong debugging skills

Experience and/or exposure to mobile applications development

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Ability to solve problems creatively / strong analysis skills

Experience with software development on Apple Mac
