The Opportunity to be a Changemaker…

Your primary responsibilities will be to build, maintain and support our supporter facing digital systems including World Vision Website and support Azure cloud services that power our supporter facing digital platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for web development and cloud technologies and for someone who loves working in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.

This role will report directly to the Digital Solutions Architect, and the key responsibilities will be: 

Build, support and maintain World Vision Australia’s primary website and other digital solutions

Build, support and maintain WVA’s web cloud hosting platforms

Build, support and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Manage requests for tasks that come through the Digital requests queue which includes bug fixies, optimisations or operational requests

Works collaboratively with the broader digital team to support the development of various web applications

Who we are looking for…

You have a strong understanding and extensive experience working with: 

.NET 4.5+, .Net core (at least 3 years' commercial experience)

REST/JSON Web APIs

Experience with web application hosting & architecture preferably using Azure cloud services

Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Microsoft SQL Server (2012+) · 

And working knowledge of: 

PCI DSS

Web security practices

Experience with Agile methodologies

SiteFinity/SiteCore or other similar ecommerce platform or CMS

JavaScript technologies (JQuery, AJAX), AngularJs/Vue.js/React

This role is a permanent contract operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.

World Vision Australia takes our Safeguarding responsibilities seriously and we provide an environment that is safe for our child and adult beneficiaries. We have strong recruitment procedures to make sure the safest and most suitable people work with the children in our programs.
