As an Account Manager, you will engage deeply with mobile-first businesses, exceed growth goals, and drive change to accelerate Google’s position in the fast-growing and strategic business of app install.

As an App Developer (App Dev) Account Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to helping mobile application developers grow their business using Google products and services. You will take ownership of app install business in your assigned market to reach growth goals. You will work with both new and existing customers to grow their business by providing solutions and insights to drive app discovery and engagement. In this position, you will proactively reach out to both new and existing clients with solutions and insights, from account optimizations, to product betas, to performance reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new clients and react to inbound customer requests. Secure new clients by presenting customized App Developer (App Dev) solutions.
  • Ensure clients achieve their advertising goals and effectively manage pipeline and develop a strategy for long-­term sustained success.
  • Form cross-­functional relationships with internal stakeholders to realize advertiser goals.
  • Lead generation work in close collaboration with sales representatives and Marketing teams to identify high potential opportunities and develop compelling client specific pitches, strategies and sales recommendations that optimize market potential.
  • Contribute to the development of Google’s comprehensive suite of app install ad products.

  • Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in the advertising sales and gaming or mobile apps industry.
  • Experience with the app developer ecosystem.
  • Ability to speak and write in Mandarin and English fluently and idiomatically.

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Extremely proactive, organized, and responsible with an ability to work well with a team.
  • Knowledge of sales as well as interest in working with and educating new advertisers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions over the telephone to high-end prospects.
