    As a UI/UX Developer you are part of the Lighthouse Technology Solutions team in which technology experts, business developers, marketers, project managers and software developers work together on the development of new digital solutions.

    Your new role

    You'll join a team of extraordinary team and learn from some of the best in business.

    As a UI/UX Developer your role will:
  • Have a passion for front end development.
  • Create quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines and gather specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Troubleshoot IT related issues and escalates requests as required.
  • An eye for front-end / visual design who can help create interfaces that are intuitive, polished, and will scale.
  • Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based services based on usability.
  • Liaison with external team members (e.g. project manager, business subject matter experts, Testers) in the production of a finished product.
  • About you

  • Competency in the basics;Git / pull requests / unit tests / regression tests. Jira / Confluence.
  • Experience in vanilla JS and JQuery, and at least some hands-on experience with React JS, ES6, Redux., Angular.
  • Good level CSS / HTML skills, including SASS and/or LESS.
  • Experience with use of Highcharts desirable.
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
  • Some understanding of APIs, API-design, and back-end performance considerations.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Familiarity of current web standards, security, usability, accessibility,
  • Cross-browser compatibility experience for all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE11, Edge).
  • Experienced working in an agile environment and is organized and able to work to prioritised tasks
