Job Title: CPP Developer


Job Purpose 

  • This position is 

    • Critical position and the responsible person has to enhance & maintain distributed computing systems

    • Should have hands-on experience in optimizing complex multi-threaded & multi-layered applications

    • Responsible for analyzing the business requirements to develop, test, and support Nielsen applications. These software applications must be developed and maintained with high Nielsen quality standards

    • Responsible for analyzing and fixing critical production issues

    • Integrate seamlessly and collaborate with the existing team of experts 


Job Responsibilities


  • Strong understanding of CPP Programming techniques to analyze and work on complex data structures

  • Good understanding of Object-oriented analysis & design

  • Working knowledge of STL, Boost Libraries, algorithms and design patterns

  • Ability to grasp relational data models quickly and understand SQL and PL/SQL concepts

  • Optimize and tune complex CPP code

  • Need to have hands on experience on performance tuning concepts

  • Experience of configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts and       continues integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)

  • Excellent communication skills



Role Requirements 

  • 5-11 years of IT experience

  • Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners


Needed skillset (Essential):


  • CPP Programming techniques, Data Structures, Algorithms

  • Linux – Shell Scripting

  • Knowledge of Tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc.,

  • Able to write unit test scenario

  • Autonomous/Independent workability


Appreciated skill set:

  • Agile methodology

  • GIT, Jenkins etc.,
