Credit Suisse Risk &Finance has recently implemented QRM as a strategic risk management tool tomeet a BCBS 368/Finma regulatory requirement for Interest Rate Risk in theBanking Book (IRRBB).

QRM is SQL Server basedthird-party application hosted on an external cloud and uses data sourced frommultiple upstream systems through an Informatica ETL.

This role offers theopportunity to be a founder member of the IRRBB IT CTB/BAU team and help shapeit for the future.

The role requires you toinitially focus on receiving knowledge transfer from the geographically diverseIRRBB implementation team to build up in depth SME understanding of the ITsolution, in addition to undertaking some development delivery. He/she willbecome a key member of the CTB/BAU team as it grows and will be instrumental inestablishing its development processes, aligned to the CS Carbon initiative.You will work in Treasury IT, in the IRRBB BAU/CTB team based in Wroclaw.

  • A developer role focusing on the development of our Informatica ETL and external cloud platform supporting the QRM application
  • An agile and fast paced environment, with baked-in quality disciplines such as test automation and DevOps principles
  • Join an open-minded, flexible and multi-skilled team working collaboratively with other IT teams and the technical QRM business team
  • Flexibility to work from home office when required is allowed after the period of induction and based on agreement with team lead
  • Open to discussingflexible/agile working.


  • Experience in database development (preferable: MS SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle); experience in Unix, ETL tools
  • Experience of coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting and implementing software using approved methodologies
  • Development of scripts to automate the execution of code using shell scripts under Unix and Windows
  • Creation of technical specification documents and participation in design reviews/code reviews; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
  • Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables through all phases of the development lifecycle. You are able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Must be flexible, proactive, adaptable and open to new challenges
  • Highly motivated, hardworking individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
