Responsible for providing best-in-class technical support to a global customer base.

Maintains ownership for the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction

What will your job look like?
  • Ownership and accountability of specific modules of application and providing a technical support.
  • Supporting and guiding architectures during solution design for new requirements.
  • Developing software changes according to accepted design.
  • Problem resolution for critical and complex issues. Working under pressure for on time delivery of solutions for critical/complex issues.
  • Ensuring code is maintainable and scalable. Performing code review for junior developers
  • Working closely with Customer’s representatives to discuss complex/critical issues and ensuring to provide the right solution applicable for the customer business. Presenting demo of the solution to customers.
  • Investigation of the software issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes and workarounds, good understanding of telecommunication business to identify and highlight risks and help to mitigate risks from technical aspects.
  • Representing and leading discussions related to product/applications. E.g. leads design reviews.
  • Building good relationship with customers and stakeholders.
  • All you need is...
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Programming or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum experience as software engineer or a software support engineer.
  • Knowledge in Java EE 7, Advanced Java, Web services/EJB/SOAP
  • 1 year minimum experience in Unix based systems
  • Ksh scripting knowledge, code review and understanding
  • SQL/PL-SQL scripting knowledge. Ability to create SQL/PL-SQL scripts.
  • 1 year minimum experience in Oracle RDBMS
  • Knowledge in Object Oriented Design and software development design
  • Nice to have:

  • Good knowledge in Weblogic technologies
  • Ability to create scripts in Ksh, Perl, PL-SQL
  • Linux RedHat good knowledge
  • Oracle Data Base good knowledge, Performance tuning in Oracle SQL
  • Experience with Perforce/GIT or any other software version control tools
  • Experience in telecommunication industry.
