About the Job: 

As a member of the Java Front End Developer team you will be responsible for improving the company technologies by staying up to date on current trends and working with technical caliber to build the website. In this role you will also collaborate with the development team to ensure appropriate delivery of work. 

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work with the team and other developers across the company to improve our approach to development 
  • Develop complex applications using Angular 4/5/6 (Not AngularJS)
  • Work with Angular-CLI and NodeJS Implement core REST + JSON based APIs
  • Develop native AWS cloud applications 
  • Participate in design discussions and ensure designs are aligned with architecture and roadmap
  • Research and recommend relevant technologies toward overall technical strategy 

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • High motivation and energy
  • The ability to identify straight forward solutions using relatively restricted tech stacks 
  • Experience with unit testing Angular apps using Karma and Jasmine
  • 8+ years of experience in the field   Strong fundamentals of CSS (knowledge of Sass is a plus)
  • Ensure clear documentation of created/modified functionality
  • Strong communication skills and critical thinking skills
