Job description

Global Engineering Specialist-Connected Infotainment, Warren, MI, General Motors. Analyze captured CAN bus communication logs of psgr vehicle system Body Control Module ECU reprogramming for vehicle features to ensure secure access using git, Gerrit, MATLAB, Simulink, VehicleSpy, &E2. Assure launch readiness for telematics devices for NA, SA &China regions. Debug embedded S/W using Trace &JTAG tools. Dvlp scripts in CAPL &simulating vehicle environment using CANalyzer to reproduce sys level issues by monitoring Ethernet traffic between different ECUs. Engr &perform global LTE wireless telematics validation, &launch, dvlp &continuously improve 4G LTE &5G wireless connectivity capability (device to connected psgr vehicles) for NA, SA &China regions. Design radio &User Interface (UI) applications for 4G LTE &5G. Communicate &consult w/ internal Backoffice Engrg Dept &suppliers to assure performance of telematics units according GM &3GPP specs &SAE J1939 &J2945/2 standards. Bachelor, Electrical, Telecommunications, or Electronics &Communication Engrg, or related. 36 mos exp as Engineer, designing UI applications for 3G UMTS or 4G LTE, &debugging embedded S/W using Trace tool.
