Analyze business needs and design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure to support those business needs. Create network plans, ensure technology interoperability, document existing and proposed network infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers, and provide fourth tier troubleshooting or support. Recommend hardware and software to meet IT needs. Organize rollouts of new equipment and systems, and ensure corrective and preventative measures are performed on existing equipment and systems. Develop test strategies and tools to perform lab evaluation of selected platforms and designs. Responsible for engineering the firm's network security infrastructure with a focus on global load balancers and ADC. Support local and global load balancers. Work other team members to maintain firm's network security services including IDS/IPS, perimeter protections, firewalls, load balancing, content forwarding, remote access, and wireless. Present technical solutions to senior management.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Network Engineer, System Administrator, or related occupation.Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: performing operational, implementation, or engineering functions in application delivery; load balancing including F5 LTM, F5 DNS, and GTM.; networking; TCP/IP; global and local balancers, DNS, and underlying network protocols; proxies and web applications; application delivery controllers and proxies; application components; available network operating systems and network equipment; scripting with Python or Perl; Windows and UNIX or Linux operating systems; and large Fortune 50 enterprise or service provider network architecture, analysis, and engineering design, with an active role interfacing with business units.
