Job description

Unlike conventional security tools built for static data centers, Lacework is designed to self-adapt to the cloud’s ever-changing configuration and workloads.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Own the technical relationship with Lacework’s customers, including proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Deliver demos to customers and work hands-on with customers to demonstrate Lacework’s value in customer/partner environments.
  • Recommend security best practices, cloud architecture, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete cloud security solution based on Lacework.
  • Bring constructive feedback from customers to product management to improve the Lacework solution. Contribute to PRDs.
  • Expect some travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience presenting and delivering technical demo's to executives, architects, and technical staff.
  • Ability to login to a Linux console and write a simple Bash script. (with heavy google help!)
  • Understanding of tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent from Azure or GCP
  • Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments - especially as it relates to security and compliance requirements.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
  • Previous DevOps/DevSecOps experience
  • Previous Compliance audit experience (either Auditor or being audited)
