Job description


The Application Developer will report to the Sr. Director, FAIT and be responsible for desktop and web application development and mobility solution development.


  • Plan, develop and support Crestwood’s Intranet, custom web based applications, mobility solutions and SharePoint customization. Transform Crestwood’s Intranet from legacy technology to current Microsoft technology and tools.
  • Develop and support repeatable scripted ETL interface solutions to ensure data integrity and consistency between system of record and all dependent systems.
  • Responsible for technical success, and timeliness of each phase of the project development life-cycle.
  • Provide timely communication and status to stakeholders & supervisor at key milestones.
  • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners to test new programs and applications.
  • Liaise with network administrators, DBA’s and developers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure zero defects before applications are put into production.
  • Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk to ensure functional support is available for custom applications, web sites and SharePoint. Provide level-two technical support as required.
  • Review changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports. Review and repair legacy code.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience with responsive web/desktop application development using Microsoft technology (MVC, Entity Framework, .NET, C#, T-SQL) and other web-specific technology (e.g. PHP, XML/XHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 2+, etc.).
  • Experienced with Microsoft Team Foundation server or comparable source control system and DevOps concepts.
  • Proven knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles.
  • Ability to work within an agile development process.
  • Ability to translate user requirements and develop specifications.
  • Knowledge of security best practices developing for the web.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience interacting effectively with stakeholders, internal customers and coworkers under stressful and demanding situations.
  • Strategic thinking skills with ability to visualize the big picture or manage tactical detail as required.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint & SharePoint Development a plus
