Job description


The Technical Engineer I is a member of the production team providing superior support to nationwide clients in varied and complex environments. In this role you will serve as the technical expert during the implementation phase, addressing technical questions and providing direction to our client's technical resources ensuring all tasks are completed properly to meet their specific requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Comfortable working in a ticketing environment, taking ownership of tasks and drive to completion
  • Supports and Implement SaaS based and on premise software solutions using tools such as SQL, XML, AWS
  • Troubleshooting complex issues quickly, effectively and to completion
  • Provides great customer service while maintaining top levels of technical proficiency
  • Detail oriented regarding written documentation, process flow, data integrity and software implementation
  • Works with minimal supervision, displays high levels of personal motivation and desire to exceed expectations
  • Documents all processes and procedures
  • Inputs and updates trouble tickets using internal system
  • Willingly performs other tasks as periodically assigned

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience working with relational databases in SQL, or similar language.
  • 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting software issues and experience diagnosing issues
  • Experience in technical customer service/support.
  • Understanding or experience working with software development tools (S3, Athena, Splunk, AWS) and writing/understanding basic SQL queries
  • It helps if you posess a good understanding of basic networking, internet concepts and are familiar with various types of operating systems
  • Knowledge of the financial or banking industry would be a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize computer systems (i.e. MS Office, MS SQL or other Relational databases)
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas both written and verbally to direct reports or customers
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively prioritize between multiple clients and related tasks and create a sense of urgency, successfully managing multiple priorities
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
