 We're looking for a Vice President –Sales/Business Development for our Telecom/Wireless Vertical Practice in  Dallas, TX 


The desired location can be Dallas, TX   OR  Basking Ridge, NJ, US.



We're looking for a Vice President –Sales for our Telecom/Wireless Vertical Practice. The ideal candidate would be a current or former business leader who has built and led a large consulting services team. Have you built or led a successful transformation at a Telecom/Wireless Services? Can you lead a Customer through a variety of projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture implementation, and hybrid cloud migrations? Can you lead world-class teams that drive breakthrough business outcomes using new IT delivery models and cloud migration tools?

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be able to leverage a deep mission understanding of customers’ needs and objectives in the areas of Enterprise IT; Information Technology Infrastructure; Advanced Technology; (AWS, Cloud, Software Engineering, Analytics, & AI Solutions) and Training Solutions.

The position will include oversight of customer contact and positioning, team interactions, and coordination with other internal business development and sales resources available across Company

Basic Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience leading information technology consulting services including the development of strategies, implementing and integrating software, and managing complex projects
    • At least 10 years overall IT management experience with proven success contributing to profitability by aligning the relationship between business and corporate level marketing strategy. At least one of these years should be in a more developmental role
    • B.S. in engineering or computer science or a B.A. supplemented by substantive technical   training in software development or systems engineering
    • Experience working effectively across internal and external organizations
    • Experience working as Technical Lead- Software Development & Engineering- Cloud, DevOps, Data & Digital Transformation.
    • Minimum 10 years of hands-on, full life cycle BD/Capture leadership experience with a   demonstrable ability to win IT services or solutions related awards valued at $10M+ in the Telecom and Wireless Domain.
    • Required experience with Telecom/Wireless Vertical Practice.
    • Develops sales strategies and forecast sales volumes for their territory
    • 10+ years of experience in selling software solutions/ services
    • Regularly attend client meetings for product knowledge, account performance reviews and goal setting.
    • Fully comprehend products and services to satisfy customer questions
    • Promptly follow-up on leads
    • Secure relationships with existing clients by contacting them about existing products/services; as well as assessing their needs for additional features and upgrades.
    • Prospect for potential customers and establish relationships using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings.
    • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
    • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
    • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions.
    • Provide feedback to company management on competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings.
    • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
    • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
    • Past experience with VERIZON OR AT&T is Desirable.
