Our client is a Large Insurance Company located in Lincoln, RI that is looking for an ASP.NET Developer to fill a 1 year contract position.
Our client has 25 existing internal applications (most of them are web-based) and they are looking for add an ASP.NET Developer to their team to work on various projects to update, maintain and support these applications.
The applications are primarily built in ASP.NET (.NET v4.0/4.5) but there are a couple legacy applications that were built in classic ASP.
Candidate will also work heavily within SQL Server 2012 including writing queries to pull data and modifying stored procedures.
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years? of professional experience
Strong experience with ASP.NET development (.NET v 4.0/4.5 or more recent)
Experience with Visual Studio 2010/2013 (or more recent)
Experience with SQL Server 2012 (or more recent) including experience with SSIS and stored procedures
Experience with XML
Exposure to SOAP services
Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
Experience with JSON
Experience with Sharepoint 2010 (or more recent) administration including basic permissions, standing up a site and more
Experience with ASP or VB6
Candidate must be able to pass a background check
