On behalf of our customer, the large development bank we are looking for experienced Desktop Security Engineer .
The incumbent will work in the Team responsible for the evaluation, testing, and implementation of emerging technologies in the desktop and mobile computing areas. An Desktop Security Engineer is responsible for engineering & maintaining Windows Client security components for geographically widespread 29000+ Enterprise Desktops/Laptops.


Strengthen Endpoint security by deploying and managing AppLocker, Windows Firewall, Windows Defender/ATP, Windows Hello for Business, MBAM/Bitlocker, BeyondTrust (Avecto) Defendpoint, CrowdStrike and other desktop security components under close collaboration with Office of Information Security.
• Ensure the reliability of endpoint protection systems. Provide support for desktop security applications mentioned above to maintain stable and effective desktop security.
• Engineering products & solutions related to endpoint platforms i.e. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Enterprise Desktop Image Engineering (Currently Windows 10)
• Participate in all aspects of the engineering process to implement security solutions (e.g., requirements definition, top-level functional designs, project management and cost analysis).
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop security software components and infrastructure servers in lab and production environments.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on future security technologies, new releases and upgrades. Assess and provide recommendations on their business relevance and deployment. Identify solutions that meet business requirements, align with strategic goals, and improve performance.
• Analyze business and technical requirements. Design, test, debug, maintain, modify and document systems/solutions to meet those requirements. Coordinate the design of subsystems and their integration with larger systems.
• Implement integration plans. Interface with testing teams to incorporate plans into the integration testing process.
• Design and plan testing efforts, coordinate feedback of test results. Develop case test files. Conduct unit, system, stress, integration and/or user testing to ensure that requirements are met.
• Perform troubleshooting for security incidents that require software and network forensic analysis, in close collaboration with other ITS teams.
• Documents detailed system specifications for major systems installations



• BS or graduate degree in computer science/engineering with proven experience directly related to information security, computer systems, software development, testing, integration, and deployment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience related to desktop security engineering and proven experience with installation, configuration, operational support and in-depth troubleshooting of MS infrastructure.
• Extensive skills in kernel level debugging and log analysis for proactive monitoring of endpoints using Splunk
• Expertise in Windows Active Directory Structure, Schema and Group Policies and Microsoft PKI Infrastructure
• Extensive Scripting and Programming skills for developing system utilities and scripts using Visual Studio.Net, VBScript, PowerShell, WMI & ADSI with VB/J script,
• Good understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, XML), Windows Networks (Active Directory, WINS, NETBIOS, NDIS), and Network Security.
• Familiar with system performance analysis tools for Microsoft Windows, diagnostic tools to help speed up problem isolation and resolution.
• Familiarity with health and performance analysis using performance monitoring and tuning tools (e.g., Xperf and Azure Windows Analytics).
• Good understanding of Desktop Virtualization platforms and Cloud SaaS services like Office 365, AzureAD and Microsoft EMS.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
